Though the Grand Tour was primarily associated with the British nobility and wealthy landed gentry, similar trips were made by wealthy young men of other Protestant Northern European nations. Private Collection (Paris / France). The comb is approx 6.7 inch wide (17 cm). Good except one marble shell from a ear ring is glued at the back, see photo.
